A new week has arrived with a loaded 11-game NBA slate for Monday, March 25. With a lot of action to choose from for the start of the week, we couldn't leave you hanging without the daily dose of expert picks.

As we look ahead to the matchups for tonight, our experts are all tapping into player props heavily for the five picks on deck including one for the red-hot Jalen Green as the Houston Rockets face the Portland Trail Blazers and two picks for each side of the Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks matchup.

So let's get into our NBA best bets for Monday, March 25.

Mavericks vs. Jazz

Monday, March 25, 9 p.m. ET, League Pass
PJ Washington under 10.5 points (-104, FanDuel)

By Bryan Fonseca

I like what the Mavs did at the trade deadline, it's why I said they were a team to watch on Green Dot Daily however many weeks ago that was.

But PJ Washington? I've been underwhelemed by his production all season, as an analyst, a bettor, a fantasy player and overall basketball observer.

He's been sailing under 10.5 points lately, going over just once in his last eight tries, a stretch that is seeing him shoot 33/16/58.

That ain't a dude I'm looking to back for an over, even against the Jazz, who ought to replace their 2023-24 logos with a bunch of white flags.

Pick: PJ Washington under 10.5 points (-104)

Celtics vs. Hawks

Monday, March 25, 7:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV
Kristaps Porzingis over 18.5 Points (Bet365
)

By Joe Dellera

The Celtics continue to dominate in the Eastern Conference and are set to face off against the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night.

One matchup to keep an eye on is Porzingis vs Capela. The Hawks will be without Jalen Johnson and Onyeka Okongwu today so Capela should see a highly floor to his minutes.

Although these two have never played H2H when Porzingis has been on the Celtics, Porzingis is averaging 20.9 ppg and has exceeded this line of 18.5 in three straight contests.

Looking at the season, Porzingis has gone over this 18.5 points line in 61% of games while averaging 20.3. While there’s always some blowout potential for Boston props, in 15+ point victories where he has played at least 20 mins, Porzingis has exceeded this line in 63% of games and while playing 30+ mins in just 2/16 15+ point victories.

Given that this is also a Pace up spot for Boston, I’ll grab Porzingis to exceed 18.5 points.

Pick: Kristaps Porzingis over 18.5 Points

Pistons vs. Knicks

Monday, March 25, 7:30 p.m. ET, League Pass
Isaiah Hartenstein over 19.5 pts + rebs + ast (-115, DraftKings
)

By Bryan Fonseca

The following blurb is intended to be read in a whisper

Psst.

You… come here… let me tell you a secret…

The sports books haven't adjusted to Isaiah Hartenstein being back to his pre-injury form yet.

He's over 19.5 PRA in five straight games despite being on a minutes restriction hovering around the mid 20s.

He went from droppable to being a fantasy basketball league winner in just a week.

And the Pistons still suck.

Pick: Isaiah Hartenstein over 19.5 pts + rebs + ast (-115)

Trail Blazers vs. Rockets

Monday, March 25, 8 p.m. ET, League Pass
Jalen Green over 26.5 Points (FanDuel
)

By Joe Dellera

The Rockets take on the Blazers tonight and continue their late push for the Play-In Tournament.

One player to watch is Jalen Green. In 7 games without Sengun, Green has averaged 30.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 4.4 3s per game. He has a Usage rate of 30% over the last 6 games and has been the engine for this Rockets' offense.

Green is a solid 3 point shooter but the Blazers have actually done a decent job of limiting 3 point opportunities this season. However, they have gotten torched by SGs lately. They've given up big games KCP and Braun (30 combined), Jaylen Brown (27), Dejounte Murray (40), and Jalen Green himself (27).

In two games against the Blazers this year he's scored 29 and 27 – both of those games were with Sengun. Not only will Sengun miss this game but Jabari Smith will as well due to suspension. Green should have free reign to attack the basket.

I'll grab Jalen Green to exceed 26.5 Points on Monday night.

Pick: Jalen Green over 26.5 Points

Celtics vs. Hawks

Monday, March 25, 7:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV
De'Andre Hunter under 3.5 rebounds (+114, FanDuel

By Bryan Fonseca

The most frustrating thing about Hunter is that, while he's a forward who projected to be a high level two-way player who is statistically versatile, he has a lot of games that are just points.

Since returning from injury on January 30 — missing just two games since — he's averaging 16 points per game with just three assists and hardly over an assist per contest.

He's gone over 3.5 boards just twice in his last 12 games — he's gone just one rebound or fewer more often.

Maybe he lights up the Celtics — he should be considering Jalen Johnson, Trae Young and Saddiq Bey have been out, but he's still mostly the same dude — either way, I'm not expecting a ton of boards in this spot.

Pick: De'Andre Hunter under 3.5 rebounds (+114)
