Jonathan Gannon: Cardinals Were 'Deflated'
Troy Taormina-USA TODAY Sports

The Arizona Cardinals are now 2-10 on the season after the team fell to the Los Angeles Rams in 37-14 fashion in Week 12.

It was another turbulent week for Jonathan Gannon and his squad, who initially took an 8-7 lead after their first drive but failed to produce anything significant the rest of the way.

After the game, Gannon spoke to reporters and told us he felt the team was a bit deflated in terms of energy:

Rams running back Kyren Williams was again a problem for the Cardinals, as he rushed for 143 yards on 16 carries and also added six receptions for 61 yards and two touchdowns through the air.

Matthew Stafford diced the Cardinals up to the tune of 25-33 for 229 and 4 touchdowns to one interception.

James Conner, Arizona's leading rusher, carried the ball six times for 27 yards. Marquise Brown caught six of his 12 targets for 88 yards. Greg Dortch was the lone receiver to score on the day.

Kyler Murray completed 27 of his 45 attempts for 256 yards and one touchdown while also adding a rushing touchdown as well.

As a team, the Rams totaled 457 offensive yards while going 4-5 in the red zone. They were 6-12 on third down and completed both fourth down attempts.

The Cardinals now focus their attention for a Week 13 road date with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
