Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will regret the day he decided to leave Barcelona for Chelsea last summer, but he may have the chance to return to the Camp Nou this summer.

Barcelona have always kept interest in Aubameyang, and with the player almost certain to leave Chelsea this summer after being left out of the squad on more than one occasion, the Catalan club could swoop in again.

The one condition is that Barcelona don't sign their main target Vitor Roque first.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona will turn to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer if they fail to land Athletico Paranaense striker Vitor Roque.

Roque is one of the most highly rated young players in Brazil at the moment and Barcelona are currently leading the race to sign him.

Chelsea have previous heavy interest in Roque, but they seem to have fallen to the back of the que when it comes to serious contenders to acquire his signature.

Aubameyang is almost certain to leave Chelsea after being completely left out of the squad for a number of weeks, and Barcelona could turn to him as cheap option to boost the squad.

With Lionel Messi expected back and LA Liga having a cap on the amount Barcelona can spend, it's likely they will have to use some cut price methods in this years transfer window.

Aubameyang is waiting until the season ends to leave Chelsea, and he will be hoping he can go back to Barcelona when the time comes.
